Day 2 as a Tripawd

My second day as a tripawd has been pretty good. It is snowing in the rest of the country but I live in sunny San Diego and today it is 75 degrees out. I hopped outside and sunned myself, had a marrow bone and rested comfortably all day. I’m getting around pretty good for the most part. Not sure where my leg ran off to but I don’t seem to need it all that much 🙂

  1. Wow Rawley, that Big beautiful smile of yours says so much! No more painful leg, a “mama” that loves you more than you’ll ever know, and a comfortable place to recoup. It must have been a difficult decision for your mama to make, but it sure looks to be the Right one! It’s absolutly amazing how a dog can go through so much and come out on the other side with such a “pawsitive” energy and a vigor for life! We humans could take a few lessons from Rawley, who is such an inspiration! I can’t wait to see and hear more about your amazing journey.

  2. OH you big sweet hoppy boy! Look at how you chomped that bone down! It made us smile just as big to see you lovin’ life in Sunny So Cal and being you. It also reminded us of when Jerry ate his first bones too. We thought he wouldn’t be able to with one front leg. Oh how wrong we were!

I’m glad you’re in SoCal, lucky pup! I wish all Tripawds could recover in such great weather.

    xoxo
