Apologies for my absence everyone, I was out having too much fun as a tripawd 🙂 I was really getting the hang of it but then on Monday when I was unresponsive to my dinner being prepared, my mom knew something was up. I was bleeding internally. A tumor on my spleen had ruptured. To the emergency room we went and after a blood transfusion and a splenectomy I am back! After 3 nights in ICU I got to come home yesterday and today I am napping and recovering very well. The Dr’s tell me I don’t even look like I have had surgery. Although they really need to train those techs on how to use the clippers because now my shaved belly, my shaved arm and all my shaved limbs look a little funny but I’m not complaining because I am here!

Holy cow Rawley! You’ve really been through it sweet boy! Soooo glad you are recovering and getting back on track! Geez, so sorry this happened.
It’s bad enough Rawley has to go through the amputation surgery and now this!
But I know he is getting more spoiling and loving than most dogs get in a hundred years!!
Please keep us uldated as his reco v ery continues. We want to keep cheering him on…loudly, really loudly…yelling and clapping really loudly!!
